1-29-10

Thanks to everyone who attended our Alustra event yesterday! We had a great turnout, and to our surprise, everyone received a gorgeous totebag with matching portfolio binder, AND a full set of memos samples and sales tools for the entire Alustra collection. It was like Christmas! We all learned a great deal from Deb Rubin, and I know that Alustra will be in the forefront of our minds when presenting Hunter Douglas products.

Please note the special events coming up. If you would like more info on the Spirit Awards go to www.designsfordignity.org. This organization was founded by local designer Susan Fredman. They are a non-profit organization that provides pro-bono design work for area non profits.
D$D utilizes excess product from the design industry to benefit the non profit organizations that they serve.

Babies are a hot topic of conversation at CDT. In addition to Andrea and Mike's little boys, Camille will become a first time grandma in May!!!
Andrea works closely with all of our designers and we know that many of you love her as much as we do. So, if you would like to be a part of this fun evening, mark your calendars and wait for the details!
Wildcat Territory Bedding

Well dressed bedrooms are a must for today's sophisticated consumer. However, custom bed ensembles are often out of reach financially, and the "Bed bath and Beyond" route may seem to obvious. Wildcat Territory provides the perfect happy medium. These beautiful vignettes for the bed are less pricey than custom, but have the same attention to detail that you would expect from a custom design. Silk, linen, applique, embroidery and beautiful fabric combinations make these bed ensembles truly show stopping.
Some customization of size is available, so you can make this work for any client. Speaking of work...hardly any for you!!! Remember to check this HOT PINK Wildcat Territory binder next time you visit CDT!
Hunter Douglas Tax Credits and Rebates

If you are selling or have sold Architella shades this year, your client may be eligible for a Federal Tax Credit up to $1,500!!! We NOW have the forms at CDT. There are some restrictions so make sure to check on the form. This is retroactive to January 1, 2009 and runs through December 31, 2010. What a fantastic selling tool!
