As you know, the Hunter Douglas Beginner Class has been rescheduled to Wednesday, April 29 from 10-1. Due to the date change, we have the opportunity to share with you some "Hot Off the Press" news and introductions that were just unveiled this past week at the "Premiers" seminars. There are new products, new pricing, and lots of other changes and additions that you need to know about if you sell Hunter Douglas. In order to accommodate this, the beginning of the session, from 10-11:15 will be new product introductions, geared to EVERYONE, regardless of level of expertise. The remaining time, 11:15-1:00 will be geared to the beginner level.

Furniture Seminar
Jerry Hoffman, Director of Showrooms for Duralee will here on Tuesday, June 16 at 10:30 am to share his expertise on selling furniture. He and Walt Kozy will present "Back to Basics" helping us become familiar with the "bread and butter" pieces in the Duralee and Owner Select collections, focusing on simple styles and the most affordable items. Vicki and Camille will wrap up the morning with our ever popular presentation "How to Sell Furniture When Your Client Can't Sit On It". We are aiming to be finished by 12:30, but may run longer depending on the number of questions and audience participation.

We received word that, effective immediately, Dinec is reducing their chair and bar stool prices by 20%, and hutch and buffet prices by 10%!!! This is great news for all of us.

IFDA will be having a seminar on Tuesday, April 21 which will be called "All About Feng Shui." IFDA is very excited about our speaker Laurie Pawlie, who is an expert on the subject, and teaches Feng Shui theory and techniques. The booths at these events are aways interesting, and there will be some that will relate to the feng shui theme.
