Camille and I would like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful showroom staff. Not only do they take care of you, they take care of each other, and they take care of Camille and I. We are so very blessed to have such wonderful caring friends to share each day with. We had a staff meeting this evening. They surprised us with a pot luck supper and a beautiful booklet where they all shared how they came to be here at CDT. It was all very touching, until the "guess the baby pictures" game was announced. The sentimental tears turned into tears of laughter. I fear that we have not seen the last of the baby pictures, so stay tuned.

Dinec Lowers Prices!
We received word that, effective immediately, Dinec is reducing their chair and bar stool prices by 20%, and hutch and buffet prices by 10%!!! This is great news for all of us.
Robert Allen Outlet
Robert Allen has announced the creation of their ONLINE OUTLET. They are using the internet to reduce their inventory of closeout fabric and trim. Prices are drastically reduced. If you are purchasing a fabric and it is discontinued, you will automatically be directed to the outlet if there is stock listed there. You can also search the outlet directly. You will find a link on the RA website. The outlet is available to both the trade and to the public. You can use your RA account number, and CDT will still receive credit for your sale.
Other Hunter Douglas updates:
We have a new price list for installations. This will be effective immediately, and will soon be available on our website. You can also pick up a copy in the showroom.
If you are working on an order that qualifies for the Hunter Douglas rebate, be sure that the date on your order matches the date on the rebate. In order to ensure accuracy, you should call CDT before mailing it in, so the office can give you the correct date. It needs to be the date WE SEND IT IN, not the date you sell it. We suggest that you complete the form on behalf of your client.
Also, please double check your rebate form. In the lower half of the form, on the left side, you should have the HDID number already filled in. If you do not, please fill in number 1246976.
The Hunter Douglas rebate promotion is still going strong and generating a lot of business. Make a point of contacting your clients to let them know about this.
The Thomas Lawrence extra 10% is in effect till April 15.
During the month of April, take an extra 10% off any Taylor King piece!!

IFDA will be having a seminar on Tuesday, April 21 which will be called "All About Feng Shui." IFDA is very excited about our speaker Laurie Pawlie, who is an expert on the subject, and teaches Feng Shui theory and techniques. The booths at these events are aways interesting, and there will be some that will relate to the feng shui theme.
